Overview
The TCAC FoS is fielded to the United States Marine Corps Radio Battalions (RadBn) and Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC). The TCAC FoS is a computer-based Signals Intelligence (SIGINT)/Electronic Warfare (EW) fusion center that provides automated SIGINT processing, analysis, and reporting capabilities. The system is configured to operate in a distributed mode and can automatically accept, process, correlate, and geographically display air, surface, subsurface, and emitter and sensor reports. The Fleet Marine Force (FMF) RadBns and MARSOC use the TCAC FoS capabilities to provide timely and accurate SIGINT/EW support to Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF) combat operations.
Responsibilities
- Development of system software and hardware specifications, integration practices, and requirements
- Participate in Systems Engineering Technical Review events and processes
- Develop Engineering Change Proposals and documentation that is created to document and maintain versioning control of a system
- Use requirements management tools and link requirements to test cases
- Conduct software testing and documentation of tickets
- Report and (test) plan writing
- Knowledge of identifying duration of software and integration tasks to aid in informing project schedule
- Understanding of technical specifics of integration, development, and testing in Windows Server and Linux Red Hat environments
Qualifications
- BS degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or other engineering related field.
- Ten (10) years of experience in C4ISR related programs, to include: Technology Analysis and Assessment, Design Definition, Development of Systems Specification, Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Integration, Test & Evaluation Criteria, and Logistics support of C4ISR requirements. Five (5) years of technical experience in support of network, system architecture, and the interoperability of USMC intelligence system collection and analysis platform, development, testing, and mplementation of requirements, specific product and systems. Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
- Active TS/SCI Clearance walking through the door
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior Marine Corps system experience with an emphasis on SIGINT and C4I, and Systems/Software Integration.
- Familiarity with REL 9, Cisco Switches, Linux, Active Directory, Systems Administration, Bash, Powershell, and Podman a plus.
