Utility Driver

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Utility Driver to join our team in Dayton, OH. The Utility Driver will be responsible for transporting materials, equipment, and personnel to various job sites, ensuring timely and efficient delivery while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to transport tools, equipment, and materials to and from job sites.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment as needed.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while driving.
• Support field crews with general labor tasks as required.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding schedules and job site needs.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience operating utility or commercial vehicles preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel to various job sites within the Dayton area.

Work Environment

This position involves outdoor work in various weather conditions and may require physical labor. The Utility Driver will spend significant time driving and may be required to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends depending on project needs.
