UTILITY ENGINEER

Summary

Utility engineer reviews utility records, coordinates surveys, and manages detection activities to ensure safe infrastructure development in Singapore.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Review utility records and service plans.

• Develop and maintain Utility Registers.

• Prepare Preliminary and Final Geo-CUP.

• Coordinate utility investigations and verification activities.

• Manage: o EML Detection o MC-GPR Surveys o Gyro-Mapping Surveys o Trial Trenching

• Review utility detection reports and survey deliverables.

• Correlate: o Utility Records o Detection Data o Trial Trench Findings o GIS Data • Support utility coordination meetings.

• Assist Project Manager in technical submissions. • Liaise with utility agencies and authorities.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Geomatics or equivalent.

• Minimum 3 to 5 years relevant experience.

• Experience in utility works, utility diversions or utility investigations.

• Familiarity with: o Utility Survey Standards o LTA Specificationso GIS Platforms

• Strong technical report writing and CAD skills.
