About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced UX Design Specialist to lead UX direction and execution across a product area. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll drive design strategy, coordinate UX efforts across multiple teams, and ensure cohesive, high-quality user experiences are delivered.

Rather than managing people directly, you will lead through design expertise, collaboration, and strategic influence—working closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and business stakeholders to integrate UX into the product development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead UX strategy and execution across multiple products and cross-functional teams.

  • Define and align UX direction with broader product and business objectives.

  • Plan and prioritize UX design efforts, ensuring the right level of design investment across initiatives.

  • Own the end-to-end design process—from discovery and problem framing through prototyping, validation, and production readiness.

  • Utilize AI tools throughout the design workflow for ideation, research synthesis, content generation, rapid prototyping, and design validation.

  • Create prototypes using Figma and code to validate concepts before implementation.

  • Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, and business stakeholders to embed UX into planning and delivery processes.

  • Clearly communicate design trade-offs, highlighting impacts on user experience, timelines, and technical feasibility.

  • Drive consistency by promoting design systems, UX standards, and scalable design practices.

  • Mentor and influence designers by sharing AI best practices, design patterns, and UX methodologies.

  • Identify design quality risks and recommend improvements to strengthen overall design maturity.

  • Present design rationale and strategic recommendations to leadership, connecting UX decisions to measurable business outcomes.

  • Participate in design critiques and cross-functional reviews to continuously raise design quality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).

  • 8+ years of professional UX design experience, including leading UX initiatives across multiple teams or product areas.

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic design leadership, end-to-end product delivery, and measurable business impact.

  • Deep expertise across the UX discipline, including:

    • User Research

    • Information Architecture

    • Interaction Design

    • Visual Design

    • Prototyping

    • UX Writing

    • User Journey Mapping

  • Experience planning and allocating UX resources across multiple initiatives based on business priorities and user impact.

  • Practical experience leveraging AI tools throughout the design lifecycle, including large language models (LLMs), AI-assisted design workflows, and code-based prototyping.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence product and engineering leadership.

  • Experience working in Agile environments, including Sprint Planning and Program Increment (PI) Planning.

  • Comfortable designing complex ecosystems involving multiple user roles, cross-platform experiences, and digital-physical interactions.

  • Strong understanding of design systems, accessibility, usability principles, and scalable design practices.

What We Offer:

  • A dynamic and innovative workplace driving advancements in cutting-edge robotic technologies

  • The opportunity to collaborate with talented cross-functional teams on meaningful and impactful projects

  • Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package

  • A supportive culture that fosters continuous learning, growth, and professional development

  • Flexible hybrid working model for an optimal work-life balance

  • 25 days of annual leave to recharge and relax

  • An annual wellness allowance of 3,500 SEK to support your health and wellbeing
