UX Designer
Summary
Designs intuitive, accessible user experiences for government-facing digital products, conducting research and iterating on wireframes, prototypes, and flows using Figma and related tools.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing.
- Create user personas, journey maps, and information architecture.
- Design wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Develop user flows and interaction designs.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders.
- Ensure designs meet usability and accessibility standards.
- Maintain and contribute to design systems.
- Iterate designs based on user feedback and analytics.
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of UX principles and human-centered design.
- Hands-on experience with Figma.
- Experience with Adobe XD and/or Sketch.
- Experience with Miro.
- Knowledge of usability testing methods.
- Understanding of responsive and mobile-first design.
- Familiarity with WCAG and accessibility guidelines.
- Ability to create:WireframesHigh-fidelity UI designsInteractive prototypesUser flows
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 3–10 years of relevant UX/UI design experience.
- Relevant experience in public or government sector projects/products.
