UX Designer

Summary

Designs intuitive, accessible user experiences for government-facing digital products, conducting research and iterating on wireframes, prototypes, and flows using Figma and related tools.

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing.
  • Create user personas, journey maps, and information architecture.
  • Design wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
  • Develop user flows and interaction designs.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure designs meet usability and accessibility standards.
  • Maintain and contribute to design systems.
  • Iterate designs based on user feedback and analytics.
  • Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of UX principles and human-centered design.
  • Hands-on experience with Figma.
  • Experience with Adobe XD and/or Sketch.
  • Experience with Miro.
  • Knowledge of usability testing methods.
  • Understanding of responsive and mobile-first design.
  • Familiarity with WCAG and accessibility guidelines.
  • Ability to create:WireframesHigh-fidelity UI designsInteractive prototypesUser flows
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 3–10 years of relevant UX/UI design experience.
  • Relevant experience in public or government sector projects/products.
