UX Designer
Summary
As the first full-time UX hire, you will lead the redesign of the Instapanel platform, creating user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile. You will collaborate with engineers on AI-driven and AR features for an enterprise market research product.
We’re looking to grow our product team to help guide our platform redesign. We’re a design-obsessed company, and as our first full-time UX hire, you’ll have a strong voice in all our product decisions.
Instapanel is a tech-forward company. We are always looking for better ways to use powerful new technology to create better products that balance our market research participants and our customers’ needs. As a UX designer, you’ll be able to design with consumer-grade polish for an enterprise product. You’ll also be able to fully leverage our engineering team to implement AI-driven designs and augmented reality features.

Responsibilities
Work on a small, agile team
Map out and streamline user flows through various parts of Instapanel
Collaborate with UX researchers and engineers through design sprints to implement features
Collect metrics and talk to real people, and use that feedback to improve the experience.
Develop and maintain user stories, wireframes, specifications, and other design tools/documentation.
Communicate with users to understand their needs and use that knowledge to drive the design process
Design for web-based products on desktop and mobile
Design with consumer-grade polish on an enterprise product
Own features from concept to release
Provide a strong design voice in all product decisions

Designing for desktop and mobile web
Attention to detail
Strong UX skills
Strong communication skills
Helpful but not required experience
Experience designing infographics
Human/AI interaction design
Knowledge of React or UI frameworks
