[What the role is]

We are looking for a self‑motivated User Experience Designer to join the Information Services Group. You will be responsible for researching and designing the end‑to‑end user experience for HDB’s digital products, while providing thought leadership and championing design thinking and human‑centric design. You will be deployed to a product team and will perform tasks related to UX research and design, including:

[What you will be working on]

  • Plan and execute comprehensive user research and discovery activities to uncover user needs and identify product opportunities.

  • Document As-Is and develop detailed To-Be user journeys.

  • Design screen wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes that align with established product requirements and business objectives.

  • Refine design solutions through systematic usability testing and iterative feedback cycles, ensuring optimal user experience.

  • Adhere to accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG 2.0) and HDB Design System guidelines throughout the process.

  • Work closely with Product Owners, Technical Product Managers, Software Engineers, and key stakeholders to deliver effective design solutions that meet business and user needs.

  • Actively engage in design reviews and quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of design implementation.

  • Participate in key scrum ceremonies (e.g. sprint planning sessions, sprint retrospectives, etc)

[What we are looking for]

  • A strong background in Human Computer Interaction, Information Technology, or related field of study

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a UX Designer, Interaction Designer or related

  • Good understanding of design systems and component libraries

  • Ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive user interfaces

  • Proficiency in industry-standard design tool e.g Figma

  • Good understanding of product development lifecycle

  • Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills

  • Strong online portfolio of past works demonstrating expertise in creating user-centric designs including concepts, wireframes, prototypes, and design systems
