UX Designer(Visual&Motion)

As China is the largest and fastest growing market for passenger cars, we are currently looking for an experienced UX designer who shares the same passion and enthusiasm for leading our China specific user experience design of Mercedes-Benz Cars.
Located in our UX design Beijing team. you will be at the forefront of designing the in-vehicle digital experience(MBUX), shaping how users interact with their vehicles through intuitive, beautiful, and safe interfaces. You will bridge the gap between cutting-edge automotive technology and human-centered design, creating the visual design/animation design for Mercedes-Benz operating system(Infotainment & ADAS). Your mission is to provide best-in-class and best market fitting user experiences to Chinese customers.
Further on you are in charge of to leading all UX/UI activities and the collaborative integration with the relevant stakeholders within China and Headquarter.

Task description\:

• Closely working with Product Manager, UX designer and Development team, craft the visual design proposal/ideation with Mercedes-Benz design system, guideline & principle. including icons, typography, color palettes, and spatial layouts for various domain/features (E.g. Digital cluster, Vehicle Function, ADAS etc)
• Follow modern creation and ideation processes and work closely together with solution architects and technical specialists to ensure that the designed experience is conform to architectural principles and our overall product styleguides. Collaborate with stakeholders in software development activities using the Scrum/Agile development process.
• Create and deliver high-fidelity, pixel-perfect visual design, user interface components, and production-ready assets for a wide range of in-car applications. Conceptualize, design, and specify purposeful animations and transitions. Use motion to enhance usability, guide user attention, provide clear feedback, and instill a sense of premium quality and personality into the system.
• Coordinate closely with stakeholders in other business departments focusing on customer needs and product strategy to align about the deliverables into product development. Be actively drive and participate verification and test drive and end to end accountable for final series product. Take the ownership to cooperate with Product Manager and Development team to safeguard the design quality of software release.
