UX Manager
We are looking for an experienced UX Manager to lead an existing team of designers and help drive the creation of advanced systems for public safety applications used in the incident workflow. We are in the midst of transforming our design approach—transitioning from a mockup-centric model to one oriented around working code ("System over Artifacts"). We are seeking a leader with a high agency mindset who will operationally implement this new process, relying on close collaboration with engineering and design partners and the active adoption of new working models, including, but not limited to, AI tools.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience leading and managing small to medium design teams, supported by 7+ years of overall hands-on experience in UX/Product Design.
- Solid, hands-on UX/UI foundation, demonstrated through examples of prior design at a senior / leadership level.
- Understanding of front-end architecture (HTML/CSS, basics of native UI libraries) and experience collaborating closely with development. Experience publishing shipping code is beneficial, but not a requirement..
- A demonstrable process of workflow optimization using AI, and a track record of exploration, with opinions on how AI and Design will merge in the coming months and years.
- Ability to navigate organizational change with empathy, specifically in upskilling and transforming the team's capabilities.
