    • Ensure the team understands the strategic context, dependencies, and key questions the business needs to answer.
    • Anticipate risks and opportunities, connecting operational decisions to organizational objectives.
    • Foster strategic thinking by continuously sharing business and market context.

    Customer, Data, and Evidence

    • Define expectations around discovery and the use of evidence for the squads supported by the team.
    • Ensure existing studies and data are leveraged effectively, reducing redundancy and expanding the reach of insights.
    • Build a shared understanding of users' needs, behaviors, and motivations.
    • Partner with Data and Analytics teams to connect behavioral signals with qualitative findings.

Research Execution, Quality, and Technical Expertise

    • Ensure the quality of research studies through clear reviews, alignment processes, and rituals.
    • Guide complex methodological decisions, identifying blind spots and ethical risks.
    • Balance rigor, depth, and speed according to the risk and impact of each decision.
    • Act as the team's primary technical reference for the research discipline.
    • Define and evolve methodological standards, frameworks, templates, and ResearchOps practices.
    • Evaluate and improve research tools and the centralized insights repository.
    • Identify knowledge gaps and promote training and initiatives to raise the team's technical maturity.

    Collaboration, Influence, and Advocacy

    • Strengthen collaboration across Research, Product, Design, Data, Insights, CS, and Commercial teams.
    • Support Product in prioritizing the research backlog, negotiating scope, and aligning expectations.
    • Lead cross-functional initiatives such as the Product Experience Index (PXI) and Voice of Customer.
    • Represent the Research discipline in tactical and strategic forums, connecting insights to roadmap and Product decisions.
    • Strengthen a culture of evidence-based decision-making.
    • Promote the democratization of research in a controlled manner while preserving methodological rigor.
    • Advocate for ethical, inclusive, and accessible research practices.

    People Leadership

    • Lead and develop the UX Research team, connecting deliverables to business needs and individual development.
    • Define responsibilities, monitor performance, and provide continuous feedback.
    • Create individual development plans with clear goals and consistent follow-up.
    • Prepare team members for new challenges and career opportunities.
    • Ensure performance and consistency of delivery, adjusting processes and routines when necessary.
    • Conduct organizational reviews with a systemic perspective, ensuring that team profiles are aligned with the area's challenges.
    • Foster a safe environment for experimentation, learning, and open discussion.

  • Strong facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills across different functions and seniority levels.
  • Experience communicating complex findings clearly and strategically to senior audiences.
  • Comfort working in ambiguous environments and making decisions without having complete information.
