Summary

Designs intuitive, responsive web interfaces from research to high-fidelity UI, ensuring accessibility and cross-device performance while collaborating with product teams.

About the Role

Faculty Digital is looking for a UX & UI Designer to craft intuitive, visually polished experiences across our web products. You'll own design work end-to-end — from user research and wireframes through high-fidelity UI — with a strong focus on responsive web design that works seamlessly across desktop, tablet, and mobile.

What You'll Do

  • Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI for responsive web applications
  • Conduct user research and usability testing; translate findings into design improvements
  • Build and maintain design systems, style guides, and reusable component libraries
  • Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers from concept through launch
  • Ensure designs meet accessibility standards (WCAG) and perform well across browsers and devices

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design for web products
  • Proven track record in responsive web design with a portfolio to show for it
  • Proficiency in Figma (or similar tools) for design, prototyping, and handoff
  • Solid grasp of interaction design, information architecture, and visual design principles
  • Strong communication skills and comfort presenting design decisions to stakeholders

Nice to Have

  • Frontend development skills — HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or experience with frameworks like React
  • Experience working within an agile product team
  • Familiarity with design tokens and developer handoff workflows
