Validation Engineer

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in validation and test development for embedded systems.
• Design, implement, and maintain test plans and test cases for embedded software.
• Experience in independently understanding and following test strategy, test plan, and test specification.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms, pipeline development, and automation.
• Knowledge of Jenkins administration and maintenance.
• Python scripting experience.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing of low-level drivers, middleware, and example applications.
• Execute tests on real hardware as well as in simulated or pre-silicon environments, where applicable.
• Analyse test results, identify root causes, and collaborate with developers to debug and resolve defects.
• Contribute to improving test coverage, test automation, and test infrastructure.
• Validate software behaviour across different MCU variants, boards, and configurations.
• Ensure delivered software meets quality, reliability, and maintainability expectations.
• Document test results clearly and communicate findings across teams.
• Working knowledge of GIT or similar version control systems.
• Experience troubleshooting test environments.
• Comfortable working in Linux and Windows environments.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
