Validation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain test plans and test cases for embedded software.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing of drivers and middleware.
• Execute tests on real hardware and simulated environments.
• Automate testing using Python and CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyse test results, debug issues, and work with developers to resolve defects.
• Validate software across different MCU variants, boards, and configurations.
• Improve test coverage, automation, and test infrastructure.
• Document test results and ensure software quality and reliability.

Requirements

• Experience in embedded systems validation and test development.
• Experience with test strategies, plans, and specifications.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Jenkins administration, and Python scripting.
• Understanding of embedded software, low-level drivers, and middleware testing.
• Working knowledge of Git or similar version control systems.
• Experience troubleshooting test environments.
• Comfortable working with Linux and Windows.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
