VAT Analyst

We are seeking a meticulous VAT Analyst to join our dynamic accounting team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of VAT regulations and possess the analytical skills to ensure accurate VAT compliance and reporting. This role is pivotal in maintaining our company’s tax efficiency and adherence to local laws. Responsibilities: - Prepare and review VAT returns to ensure accuracy and compliance with UAE VAT laws. - Conduct detailed analysis of VAT transactions and identify areas for improvement. - Liaise with finance and accounting teams to ensure VAT is correctly applied and recorded. - Stay up-to-date with changes in VAT regulations and advise the company accordingly. - Assist with VAT audits and manage communications with tax authorities. - Develop and implement VAT compliance procedures and controls.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. - Proven experience as a VAT Analyst or similar role within the accounting sector. - In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and compliance requirements. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams. - Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
