Veeva Vault Integration Engineer (MuleSoft)

Responsibilities:

• Design and build integration flows in MuleSoft (Anypoint Platform) connecting Veeva Vault to other Vaults and enterprise systems using CoE-approved, reusable API-led patterns.

• Configure and support native Veeva Vault-to-Vault connections in coordination with Configuration Specialists.

• Implement solutions based on technical specs from Architects, raising technical risks and design queries early.

• Perform unit/integration testing and support QA teams during end-to-end test cycles and production deployments.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and perform root cause analysis on production integration jobs.

• Maintain interface specs, mapping documents, and error-handling matrices compliant with GxP validation standards.

• Support Vault release impact assessments and provide technical inputs for ServiceNow Change Records.

Skills:

• 5 years total IT experience, with hands-on MuleSoft/Anypoint Platform development (API-led connectivity, error handling, CloudHub/RTF deployment).

• Practical experience integrating with Veeva Vault APIs (REST/SOAP), authentication models, and metadata structures.

• Strong understanding of core integration patterns (pub/sub, batch vs. real-time, idempotency, retry mechanisms).

• Experience developing and documenting integrations within regulated (GxP/life sciences) environments.

• Proficiency with Jira/Agile delivery methodologies and distributed international team collaboration.

• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

Nice to have:

• MuleSoft Certified Developer (MCD - Level 1 or 2).

• Hands-on exposure to native Veeva Vault-to-Vault (V2V) connections or Veeva Vault Administrator Certification.

• Experience working within a Life Sciences / Pharma Center of Excellence (CoE) or shared services team.
