Veeva Vault Integration Engineer (MuleSoft)

Responsibilities:
Design and build integration flows in MuleSoft (Anypoint Platform) connecting Veeva Vault to other Vaults and enterprise systems using CoE-approved, reusable API-led patterns.
Configure and support native Veeva Vault-to-Vault connections in coordination with Configuration Specialists.
Implement solutions based on technical specs from Architects, raising technical risks and design queries early.
Perform unit/integration testing and support QA teams during end-to-end test cycles and production deployments.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and perform root cause analysis on production integration jobs.
Maintain interface specs, mapping documents, and error-handling matrices compliant with GxP validation standards.
Support Vault release impact assessments and provide technical inputs for ServiceNow Change Records.
Skills:
5 years total IT experience, with hands-on MuleSoft/Anypoint Platform development (API-led connectivity, error handling, CloudHub/RTF deployment).
Practical experience integrating with Veeva Vault APIs (REST/SOAP), authentication models, and metadata structures.
Strong understanding of core integration patterns (pub/sub, batch vs. real-time, idempotency, retry mechanisms).
Experience developing and documenting integrations within regulated (GxP/life sciences) environments.
Proficiency with Jira/Agile delivery methodologies and distributed international team collaboration.
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
Nice to have:
MuleSoft Certified Developer (MCD - Level 1 or 2).
Hands-on exposure to native Veeva Vault-to-Vault (V2V) connections or Veeva Vault Administrator Certification.
