Vehicle Assembler
Job Summary:
To assemble vehicle parts and components accurately and efficiently according to technical specifications and quality standards. The role contributes to the timely production of fully assembled and road-ready vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble vehicle components including engines, chassis, body panels, interior fittings, wiring, and accessories.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), blueprints, and technical drawings during assembly.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and effectively.
- Conduct visual and functional inspections to ensure quality at each stage.
- Report defects, equipment malfunctions, or deviations from specifications.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets.
- Assist in routine maintenance of assembly tools and equipment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements.
- Adhere to safety regulations, company policies, and quality control standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate or Diploma in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or vehicle assembly environment is an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions.
