Vehicle Integration Engineer

You will be working with the Product & Systems in Bengaluru.

This team runs on a hustle mindset with an objective to increase Exponent Energy’s market share in the city of Bengaluru and beyond and help more people adapt to 15-minute rapid charging technology achieved by our Flexible Energy Stack, which consists of the e^pack (battery pack) and e^pump (charging station).

This role focuses on integrating Exponent’s HV stack with OEM buses and fleets, ensuring seamless communication, performance, and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand vehicle requirements
  • Own electrical and mechanical Integration of exponent stack in OEM vehicles
  • Document integration protocols and create technical handover packages for OEMs
  • Conduct FMEA of integration stack and solve risk
  • Support homologation and certification activities

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in HV systems integration for EVs or heavy vehicles
  • Strong knowledge of high-voltage safety protocols, bus communication, and energy systems
  • Experience with vehicle integration testing, HV architecture, and diagnostic tools
  • Ability to interface directly with OEM engineering teams and resolve cross-functional challenges
