Vehicle Mechanic

• Perform routine preventive maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid top-offs, filter replacements, and brake inspections.
  
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and electronic component failures in engine, transmission, steering, suspension, and braking systems.
  
• Conduct comprehensive safety and state/emission inspections according to local regulations.
  
• Use diagnostic tools (OBD-II scanners, oscilloscopes, multimeter units) to troubleshoot warning lights and complex system faults.
  
  Documentation & Compliance
  
• Document all work performed, parts used, and time spent accurately within the shop management system.
  
• Create clear, detailed estimates for repair costs, required parts, and labor hours.
  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workplace environmental standards.
  
• Properly handle, store, and dispose of hazardous materials (waste oil, coolant, battery fluid).
  

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma / ITI / Certificate in Automobile Engineering.
  
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as an Automotive Mechanic; experience in a mobile workshop or roadside assistance is an advantage.
  
• Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
  
• Must be familiar with UAE roads, major highways, routes, and locations.
  
• Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical and basic electrical systems.
  
• Ability to diagnose and resolve common vehicle faults independently.
  
• Good knowledge of automotive tools and diagnostic equipment.
  
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls efficiently.
  
• Good communication and customer service skills.
  
• Ability to work outdoors and under different weather conditions.
  
• Must follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with multiple vehicle brands and models.
  
• Knowledge of OBD/diagnostic tools.
  
• Experience in roadside assistance or mobile vehicle repair.
  
• Basic knowledge of automotive AC systems, batteries, tyres, brakes, and preventive maintenance.
  
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
