Vehicle Supply Technician
Definition:
Vehicle Supply Technician is responsible for fueling, cleaning and stocking ambulances as directed.
Vehicle Supply Technician is responsible receiving medical, cleaning and shop supplies as directed.
Vehicle Supply Technician is responsible for inventorying and stocking medical supply closets at AOC, ambulance stations and ambulance sub stations.
Specific Duties:
- Demonstrates complete knowledge, understanding and compliance of company policies and procedures.
- On a daily basis ensures that vehicle assigned each shift are prepared for use by field crews by:

- Fully Fueling Ambulance
- Cleaning Exterior of Ambulance
- Cleaning and Disinfecting Ambulance Interior
- Cleaning and Disinfecting Ambulance Equipment
- Stocking Ambulance w/ Appropriate Medical Equipment & Supplies

- As assigned completes Deep Cleaning of ambulances per SOP.
- As assigned completes Decontamination of ambulances per SOP
- Ensure security of buildings, vehicles, equipment, medications and all other company property.
- Maintains security and privacy of all confidential and proprietary company information at all times in accordance with company policy.
- Ensures the security of all company computer systems by adhering to security procedures and utilizing appropriate passwords policies.
- Performs daily inspections of work area for cleanliness and performs appropriate housekeeping duties as needed.
- Assists operations management staff in inventorying, ordering, receiving, stocking and issuing medical, office and shop equipment and supplies.
- Adheres to Universal Precautions/Body Substance Isolation when operating, cleaning an stocking ambulances. Is familiar with and practices the Infection Control policies and procedures of company.
- Accepts responsibility for recertification in CPR and First Aid and for other required license’s and certifications as required by company, local, regional, and state policies, regulations or laws.
- Demonstrates complete knowledge, understanding and compliance of company policies and procedures.
- Ensures the security of all company computer systems by adhering to security procedures and utilizing appropriate passwords policies.
- Ensures security of buildings, vehicles, equipment, supplies, systems and all other company property.
- Acts at all times with his/her personal safety in mind, as well as the safety of others.
- Maintains security and privacy of all company and patient information at all times in accordance HIPPA and all other local, state and federal regulations.
- Maintains security and privacy of all confidential and proprietary company information at all times in accordance with company policy.
- Accepts responsibility for recertification as appropriate as required by company, local, regional, and state policies, regulations or laws.
- Reports to assigned shifts properly groomed and attired and on time unless the proper notification has been made. Remains on duty until properly relieved.
- Assures all company goals, objectives and procedures are followed on a daily basis.
- Acts at all times with his/her personal safety in mind, as well as the safety of others.
- Performs other duties as directed by management.
