Vehicle Technician / Mechanic (£60k OTE | Level 4 EV Training | Ashford)

Pay & Benefits

• Basic Salary: £30,000 – £45,000 basic per annum (Tailored salary scale starting from Service Tech through to Diagnostic Specialist)
• Bonus Potential: Uncapped monthly bonus structure (Technicians typically average an extra £300 – £600+ per month, reaching realistic £55k–£60k+ OTE)

Role Overview

Seeking an ambitious Service & Diagnostic Specialist, Vehicle Technician, or Mechanic to join our busy main dealer workshop in Ashford. You will carry out routine servicing, mechanical repairs, electronic fault diagnostics, and high-voltage EV/Hybrid maintenance across a massive range of popular modern vehicles.

Requirements

• Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or solid time-served workshop experience) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Experience: 1+ years of hands-on experience in routine servicing, mechanical repairs, or electronic diagnostics.
• EV/Hybrid: High Voltage / EV awareness or qualification is a bonus, but full accredited Level 3 & Level 4 training will be provided if you are not yet certified.
• Mindset: Positive attitude, strong team spirit, and a drive to upskill into an advanced EV & Diagnostic Specialist.
• Essentials: Full UK driving licence & own hand tools.
