Summary:
Assists with the end-to-end invoice intake, validation, coding, and submission for payment, ensuring completeness and correctness prior to processing. Learns system processes and workflows, recognizes common issues, and assists with their resolution. Identifies situation updates on missing items and exception trends. Creates cut notices and routes them to stakeholders for approval and distribution.
What you will be doing... Your IMPACT
- Assists in processing invoices and verifies required documentation.
- Validates pricing, service codes, rate tables, duplicate entries, and vendor terms.
- Matches system entries to invoice charges.
- Identifies invoice concerns and supports efforts to resolve.
- Drafts cut notices with accurate reasons and supporting evidence.
- Provides situation updates to stakeholders such as missing items by vendors, dispatch area, recurring patterns.
- Collaborates with stakeholders about situational circumstances and support continuous improvement efforts to minimize future challenges.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- 0-3 years invoice processing within logistics and fleet services is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Logistics Management Software, workflows, and system processes is preferred.
- Familiarity with fleet, tow, repair and cleaning operations and common billing pitfalls is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail; clear communication and follow-up skills are preferred.
