At DHL Supply Chain, we are looking for a highly strategic and commercially driven Vendor Management Senior Manager to lead transportation vendor management across Indonesia.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring the availability, performance, and competitiveness of our transportation vendor network while supporting business growth, operational excellence, and cost optimization. You will work closely with Solution Design, Business Development, Operations, and Finance teams to develop strong vendor partnerships and deliver sustainable value for our customers and business.

Your Impact as Vendor Management Senior Manager

🔹 Vendor Sourcing & Contract Management

• Lead end-to-end vendor management processes, including sourcing, qualification, pricing, negotiation, analysis, and contracting.
• Ensure transportation vendors are fully contracted and ready prior to project go-live.
• Conduct risk assessments on vendor contracts and agreements.
• Maintain strong governance and compliance across the vendor network.

🔹 Commercial Performance & Cost Optimization

• Review and analyze supplier rate cards and pricing structures.
• Partner with Solution Design teams to develop competitive transportation solutions for customers.
• Drive transportation gross profit performance through effective vendor management strategies.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and deliver annual vendor savings initiatives.

🔹 Vendor Performance Management

• Monitor and evaluate transportation vendor performance.
• Establish strong relationships with strategic vendors and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Work closely with Operations teams to proactively address service failures, claims, delivery delays, and customer complaints.
• Ensure vendors consistently meet DHL service quality standards.

🔹 Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with Solution Design, Business Development, Key Account Management, Operations, and Finance teams.
• Support transportation business growth by providing reliable vendor solutions and market insights.
• Coordinate vendor readiness and capability assessments for new business opportunities.
• Promote continuous improvement across transportation operations and vendor partnerships.

🔹 Strategic Vendor Relationship Management

• Build and maintain long-term partnerships with transportation vendors.
• Develop engagement programs and supplier recognition initiatives.
• Leverage industry networks and market intelligence to strengthen DHL's transportation capabilities.
• Support strategic procurement and transportation growth initiatives.

🔹 Leadership & Team Development

• Lead and develop the Vendor Management team across the country.
• Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and customer-focused culture.
• Coach team members and support their professional development.

What We're Looking For

Education

✅ Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Transport Management, Public Relations, or a related field
✅ Master's Degree is an advantage
✅ Relevant business management certifications are advantageous

Experience

✅ Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Transportation Operations, Strategy, Vendor Management, or related fields
✅ Strong experience in transportation and logistics environments
✅ Experience leading vendor negotiations and contract management activities
✅ Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders and strategic vendor relationships
✅ Leadership experience managing teams and driving business performance
