Why You’ll Love This Role
We’re looking for an energetic, commercially minded and people-focused Venue Manager to lead our miniBOUNCE Ipswich venue in Queensland.
miniBOUNCE is BOUNCE’s adventure-play concept created especially for our youngest adrenaline hunters. It’s a place where little BOUNCERS can move, explore, play and build confidence through active play – while parents and carers can relax, connect and enjoy the experience too.
Our Ipswich venue features a multi-level adventure playground, mini trampolines, oversized airbags, ball pits, slides and a dedicated toddler area, alongside a café, birthday parties, group experiences and memberships.
This is a permanent Venue Manager position, with the successful candidate initially based at miniBOUNCE Ipswich for their first year, providing maternity leave cover. Following this period, there will be the opportunity to explore other Venue Manager opportunities and sites across the BOUNCE network.
As Venue Manager, you’ll be at the heart of everything happening at miniBOUNCE Ipswich – from creating awesome experiences for little BOUNCERS and their families, to developing your team, driving commercial performance and making sure the venue is safe, welcoming, engaging and performing at its best.
You’ll lead from the front, creating an environment where your team can thrive, families feel the BOUNCE energy from the moment they walk through the doors, and our values come to life every day.
Reporting to the Area Manager, you’ll have genuine ownership across people, performance, operations, safety and customer experience. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves being in the action, knows how to bring people together and gets their energy from seeing a team and a venue succeed.

Lead, coach and inspire a passionate venue team
Drive venue performance across sales, labour, customer experience and engagement
Develop Team Leaders and emerging leaders
Create a culture where accountability, energy and progression go hand in hand
Balance customer experience, safety, labour, revenue and team engagement every day
Use data and performance insights to identify opportunities and drive results
Build strong relationships with local families, community groups and customers
Be a visible leader who is present on the floor and connected to both customers and team
Bring the miniBOUNCE experience to life and ensure every visit leaves families wanting to come back
What You’ll Be Responsible For
As Venue Manager, you will play an integral role in the ongoing success of miniBOUNCE Ipswich. You will manage day-to-day operations, lead your team and drive performance across key measures, including:
Achieving KPIs across sales, labour, safety, venue presentation, customer experience and team engagement
Driving visitation, repeat customers, memberships, parties and group bookings
Creating an awesome experience for both miniBOUNCERS and the parents and carers who visit with them
Implementing strategies to improve venue performance and drive commercial results
Being a visible safety leader and ensuring procedures and standards are followed consistently
Coaching and developing your team and supervisors so growth is accessible to everyone
Creating a fun, welcoming and inclusive environment where little BOUNCERS can move, play and build confidence
Managing expenses and keeping controllable and variable P&L line items within budget
Maintaining a clean, safe, welcoming and high-quality venue presentation
Overseeing café, party and customer service operations
Building relationships with local schools, childcare centres, community groups and other relevant partners
Supporting local marketing and initiatives that drive awareness and visitation
Building strong relationships with the Area Manager and wider BOUNCE team
You’ll receive comprehensive training in BOUNCE’s customer experience standards, venue management systems and ways of working to set you up for success and give you the tools to lead with confidence.

Experience leading, coaching and developing a team
A commercial mindset and confidence working with budgets, KPIs and performance data

A genuine passion for creating awesome customer and team experiences
A natural ability to connect with families, children and the wider community

A strong understanding of what great safety and customer experience looks like
Experience in entertainment, hospitality, retail, leisure, family entertainment, childcare or other customer-focused environments will be highly regarded.
