The Opportunity:
We're building something new. As Veracross expands its FinTech and Business Office product suite, we're creating a dedicated sales function to drive adoption across our existing customer base. This is a ground-floor opportunity to help shape how Veracross goes to market with FinTech — working closely with Product, Customer Success, and Marketing to build a repeatable, scalable sales motion for this emerging, high-growth product line.
Job Description:
We are seeking a self-motivated and passionate Account Executive to join our successful sales team and help build our FinTech/Business Office sales motion. You will report to Keith Krass, Head of sales, Fintech, and will be responsible for meeting and exceeding Business Office/FinTech Upsell Sales bookings targets, generating pipeline through outbound phone and email efforts, managing inbound lead qualification, and closing Business Office/FinTech Upsell Opportunities. This is a product suite built for Business Officers, CFOs, and Finance Directors, so you should be comfortable and confident speaking directly with senior finance and business office stakeholders about their priorities and challenges. You must be excited about developing a sales plan to strategically target, grow, and expand adoption of the Business Office/FinTech suite across the current Veracross customer base.
Job Responsabilities:

- Assist in Business Office/FinTech Upsell lead generation activities including email, webinars, phone calls, and leveraging Veracross user conferences.
- Proactively reach out to Veracross clients to upsell the Business Office/FinTech suite and follow-up on inbound upsell leads.
- Confidently engage Business Officers, CFOs, and Finance Directors — speaking credibly to their financial and operational priorities and positioning Veracross's FinTech suite as a strategic solution.
- At times you may be responsible for providing Sales Demonstrations to Veracross clients to upsell.
- Build a trusted rapport with current clients by helping them identify their challenges and demonstrating how Veracross's Business Office/FinTech suite can be a strategic solution for their needs.
- Partner with Product, Customer Success, and Marketing to help build a repeatable, scalable sales motion for the FinTech suite.
- Manage contacts, leads and opportunities through a defined sales process in Salesforce.com.
- Maintain Salesforce.com entries allowing for accurate forecasting of “closed revenue” on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Document all sales-related information and detailed notes on client interactions in Salesforce.com.
- Work collaboratively with sales team members, marketing, Client Experience and Product Management.
- Be a visible team player, bringing clear thinking, strategies, and ideas that align to our values and culture.
- Maintain a high level of relevant domain knowledge to have meaningful conversations with clients, including Business Office and finance stakeholders.
- Provide feedback to company management on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to clients by extending company offerings.
- Remain up to date on metrics that are critical to your success.
- Remain up to date on changes in the private K-12 EdTech and Business Office/FinTech marketplace.
- Additional ad hoc projects as required.
