Veterinarian NF-05

This position is located at the Beale AFB Veterinary Treatment Facility. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

Serves as a recognized subject matter expert and leader in veterinary medical care, providing comprehensive and high-quality animal health services to support the animal health mission readiness and public health of the military community

planning and execution of advanced veterinary medical care, complex diagnostics, surgery, and treatment planning, demonstrating expertise in a broad range of domestic animals and medical conditions.

Develops, implements, and evaluates comprehensive veterinary medical programs, including preventive medicine, disease surveillance, and public health initiatives.

Direct efforts to prevent and control zoonotic diseases.

Provide technical supervision and mentorship to a team of veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and support staff at large installations.

Performs other duties as assigned.
