About the role
Hello! We are Ananda, a recruitment company, and we are currently looking for a Veterinary Clinical Assistant to cover a leave of absence until the end of the year and join a nationally renowned veterinary center specializing in veterinary neurology, located in Getafe (Madrid).
What you'll do
Duties
- Assisting veterinarians in consultations, the operating room, and neurological diagnostic tests.
- Placement and maintenance of intravenous lines/catheters and administration of medication.
- Care, hygiene, handling, and attention of hospitalized patients.
- Support in basic rehabilitation of neurological patients, following the center's guidelines.
- Preparation of patients, instruments, and equipment, as well as maintenance and cleaning of work areas.
What you'll get
- Salary: €10.04 gross/hour normal, night hours at €13.19. Additionally, a supplement of €24 is established for normal holidays and €55 for special holidays, applicable to the nights of December 24 and 31 and to the days of December 25 and January 1. Approximately €1900 gross/month
How you'll work
- Work from Monday to Friday from 22:00 to 08:00 and Saturday and Sunday from 20:00 to 08:00, with the following week off.
Additional Information
Requirements
- Training as a Veterinary Clinical Assistant.
- Experience and proficiency in the routine placement of intravenous lines/catheters in animals.
- Experience in medication administration and patient care.
- Experience in hospitalization, the operating room, or veterinary neurology will be valued.
- Responsible, active, and resourceful person, with the ability to work in a team and a desire to learn.
