Veterinary Technical Assistant

What you'll do

• Prepare and disinfect surgical material.
• Assist the veterinarian in surgical and emergency interventions.
• Examine the animal by performing standard diagnostic procedures. That is, checking body temperature, weight, etc.
• Take care of the needs of hospitalized animals. This includes feeding, hygiene, administration of necessary medications, etc.
• Know first aid to treat wounds or apply emergency treatment.

What we're looking for

• Two years of experience in a similar position.
• Degree in veterinary assistance

We are looking for a Veterinary Technical Assistant, whose mission will be to provide technical and care support to the veterinary professional in the clinical, surgical, and preventive care of animals, ensuring animal welfare, the correct management of the clinical environment, and empathetic and professional care to owners, contributing to the smooth running of the veterinary center.
