Summary
A student-leader role at UBC's Commerce Undergraduate Society: the VP, Digital Design creates and lays out the annual printed yearbook, building original themed spreads and keeping visual cohesion across the project. Core tools are Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom) and Canva, with a 5-7 hr/week commitment.

Main Responsibilities
- Collaborate and construct themes for the Yearbook with the team and co-chairs of the Yearbook & Prospectus
- Maintain design cohesion and aesthetics across projects
- Design input in the layout and graphics for the yearbook
- Attend weekly or bi-weekly portfolio meetings for process tracking
- Manage and communicate with fellow team members
Qualifications
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud (e.g: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom etc.), Canva
- Passion and drive to continuously improve design skills
- Ensure all tasks are completed on schedule to allow timely printing and distribution of the yearbook
- Proactive communication with the team during the term of employment
