Summary
Oversees capital planning, allocation, and regulatory compliance for a regional banking group across Southeast Asia, ensuring alignment with growth strategies and stakeholder expectations.
This role is responsible for planning and executing capital plans to manage and optimise the Group’s capital in line with external stakeholders’ expectations and to support business growth and strategic initiatives. It oversees capital raising, allocation across the Group, countries, and business units to maximise organic capital growth. The role also provides regional oversight of Exco capital deployment and regulatory capital for the Group and its banking subsidiaries across Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia, and Vietnam
