Vice President of Payments

We are seeking a highly experienced Vice President of Payments to lead our payments division in Maharashtra. This role is pivotal in overseeing all aspects of payment processing, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations, and optimizing our accounts payable processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate finance and a proven track record in managing complex payment systems. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage the payments team, ensuring efficient processing of vendor payments and adherence to budget variance guidelines. - Oversee the accounts payable function, including invoice audits and compliance with GST regulations. - Collaborate with corporate real estate teams to manage lease payments and vendor contracts effectively. - Implement and maintain internal audit processes to ensure accuracy and compliance in all payment-related activities. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives in payment processing and pre-audit functions to enhance operational efficiency. - Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors and internal departments, to facilitate smooth payment operations. Required Skills: - Extensive knowledge of accounts payable processes and invoice auditing. - Familiarity with corporate real estate and lease management practices. - Strong understanding of GST and MSME regulations. - Proven experience in internal audit and budget variance analysis. - Excellent leadership and team management skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
