Vice President Privacy Office Technology and HR Risk

You will support global privacy governance, operational risk reporting, technology risk activities, DPO operations, privacy committees, individual rights requests, data transfers, privacy incidents, AI and technology reviews, HR privacy advisory, audits, regulatory reporting, and audit-ready documentation. You will coordinate stakeholders and maintain privacy controls, metrics, risk registers, and remediation plans.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Global Privacy and Data Protection Officer and regional privacy leadership
  • Operate and continuously improve the Global Privacy Program
  • Manage Privacy Office reporting, dashboards, trend analysis, and governance materials
  • Coordinate the collection, validation, analysis, and escalation of privacy metrics
  • Prepare privacy governance forums and committee materials
  • Maintain governance documentation and records in an audit-ready manner
  • Support DPO reporting, annual reporting, and regulatory horizon scanning
  • Manage individual rights requests and monitor their service levels and trends
  • Maintain Records of Processing Activities with the business
  • Administer intra-group data transfer arrangements
  • Assess and manage cybersecurity incidents, data breaches, and privacy events
  • Maintain privacy risk registers, remediation plans, control documentation, and action trackers
  • Monitor emerging privacy, technology, and AI-related risks
  • Review AI, emerging technology, HR technology, and workforce analytics activities
  • Lead privacy risk advisory for global HR development activities
  • Coordinate AI and technology risk governance execution
  • Assist with regulatory submissions, audits, examinations, and senior stakeholder briefings
  • Implement corrective actions and drive scalable privacy operations

Requirements

  • Significant experience in privacy, data protection, compliance, operational risk, technology risk, governance, regulatory programs, or a related control function
  • Strong understanding of global privacy and data protection laws, including GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and GLBA
  • Experience supporting privacy governance, program management, management information, reporting, committee preparation, meeting minutes, action tracking, and audit-ready documentation
  • Experience with individual rights requests, privacy incidents, cybersecurity event assessments, intra-group data transfers, vendor privacy reviews, or technology-related privacy risk assessments
  • Familiarity with privacy risk management frameworks, risk registers, control documentation, evidence standards, regulatory reporting, and audit processes
  • Experience working with Legal and Compliance, Information Security, Technology, HR, Procurement, Records Governance, Internal Audit, and business stakeholders
  • Strong project management, stakeholder management, organizational, communication, and follow-through skills
  • Privacy, compliance, risk, information security, or project management qualifications are desirable
