Vice President Product Marketing
About Archer
A new regulatory change lands somewhere in the world every six minutes, and agentic AI is outpacing most teams' ability to govern it. At Archer, we help the enterprises powering the global economy turn that pressure into an advantage.
Mandates like the EU AI Act and the SEC cybersecurity disclosure rules are driving the most significant GRC buying cycle we have seen in years. That demand is why we are growing this team.
This is hard work that matters. Our customers span energy, utilities, financial services, pharmaceuticals, and the public institutions communities depend on. People choose Archer because they get to partner with the most trusted brands in the world, on work that protects the customers and communities those brands serve.
If that sounds like your kind of work, let's chat.
The Role
Archer is looking for a leader to own the Archer go-to-market story end to end: positioning, messaging architecture, competitive strategy, analyst placement, launches, and the sales enablement. You have competed at the platform level in enterprise SaaS, run an AI-native product positioning play, and know how to build a PMM organization that operates with an AI-first mindset.
What You'll Do
- Own the narrative. Establish the differentiation story that sets Archer apart, elevate Archer as an innovator, and define the category Archer should own.
- Build the messaging architecture. Develop segmentation, personas, ICP definition, and segment-specific messaging variants for CCO, CRO, and CISO.
- Translate the narrative into a sales motion that wins. Build sales enablement assets, decks, demo scripts, ROI models, and objection-handling frameworks that map to the buyer's journey, complement our ABM approach, and help the GTM team win new-logo accounts across target verticals.
- Lead product launches. Own GTM strategy, field readiness, enablement, and post-launch measurement, making the customer the hero of our content and amplifying their voice across Archer's channels.
- Own competitive strategy and analyst relations. Run battlecards, win/loss analysis, and quarterly competitive briefs, and shape the analyst narrative and evidence trail for Gartner, Forrester, and IDC across Magic Quadrant, Wave, MarketScape, and RiskTech100 evaluations.
- Build the PMM engine. Lead a high-performing team and govern the AI agents that run inside the function, including output review cadence and human-in-the-loop quality gates.
- Carry the narrative externally. Partner with the CEO, CCO, and CPTO on positioning and serve as a public voice for Archer in keynotes, analyst briefings, customer advisory boards, and industry events including Archer Summit, RSAC, Gartner ERAC and regional Archer events in NA, EMEA and APJ.
You'll Thrive Here If You
- Have run PMM in enterprise B2B SaaS. You've gone up against platform players and won. You've sold and marketed enterprise software across NA, EMEA, and APJ to executive buyers.
- Know the GRC landscape. IRM, compliance, enterprise risk, cybersecurity. You can talk to a CCO, CRO, and CISO.
- Have shipped an AI-native product. You understand AI as a capability versus AI as a category bet.
- Are a compelling storyteller. You read the market, build the GTM plan, and write at every altitude. The category narrative. The conference keynote. The objection response that saves the deal. Strong on a main stage, just as strong 1:1 with a customer.
- Build systems and execute. Messaging, battlecards, enablement, analyst evidence trails, built to run continuously, agents included. Hands-on, entrepreneurial, and open to better ideas from your team.
- Build teams that set the bar. You develop people. You keep a fast-paced, global, virtual team engaged and hitting deadlines.
- Drive toward results. Win rates, competitive wins, analyst placement, pipeline. Comfortable in sales meetings with prospects and customers, and a real partner to the growth marketing team.
Even Better If You Have
- 12+ years in product marketing, with 3+ at the VP or Senior Director level leading a PMM function in enterprise B2B SaaS.
- Domain experience in GRC, IRM, compliance, enterprise risk, or cybersecurity, with established analyst relationships at Gartner, Forrester, or IDC.
- Experience building and leading PMM teams, with measurable impact on win rate, competitive performance, pipeline, and analyst placement.
- Proven track record positioning enterprise software at global scale across NA, EMEA, and APJ, selling to executive buyers.
- PE-backed B2B SaaS leadership experience.
- Bachelor's degree required. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
