Vice President - Regional Manager - Liability
POSITION SUMMARY: The Vice President, Risk Management Strategies of Liability, provides strategic and operational leadership for the development, growth, profitability, and overall performance of the Risk Management Strategies business. This position is responsible for developing and executing sustainable business strategies, identifying growth opportunities, resolving complex business and client issues, and establishing policies, procedures, and operational standards that drive quality, accuracy, efficiency, and profitability.
As a member of the senior leadership team, the Vice President participates in developing and executing long-term organizational strategies and provides leadership and direction to the Property and Liability functions. The position maintains significant responsibility for financial performance, client and carrier relationships, business development, service delivery, talent management, and strategic initiatives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Risk Management Strategies business, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, growth strategies, and financial goals.*
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Matrix businesses, objectives, products, and services, and ensure that the organization's messaging and solutions effectively address client and broker needs.*
- Maintain strong technical knowledge of Matrix products and services and determine how those solutions can best be deployed for specific clients, brokers, and carrier partners.*
- Develop and execute short- and long-term business strategies designed to drive profitable growth, operational effectiveness, client retention, and service excellence.*
- Assume responsibility for the financial and operational performance of assigned business areas, including profit and loss (P&L), quality, human resources, product development, strategic relationships, and policies and procedures.*
- Lead and provide strategic direction to Property and Liability leaders and their respective teams.*
- Establish performance expectations for subordinate leaders and evaluate operational, financial, client service, and organizational results.*
- Exercise independent judgment and decision-making authority regarding significant operational, financial, client, and strategic matters within assigned areas of responsibility.*
- Identify opportunities to improve client programs, operational processes, service delivery, and overall program efficiency.*
- Develop strategic recommendations based on client business objectives, program performance, industry trends, and emerging risks.*
- Lead complex projects, strategic initiatives, and business planning meetings, including engagement with C-suite executives and other senior-level stakeholders.*
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with clients, brokers, carriers, vendors, and other business partners.*
- Address and resolve significant client, operational, and business issues in a timely and effective manner.*
- Partner with cross-functional departments to improve processes, maximize efficiencies, and support organizational objectives.*
- Evaluate vendor relationships and contracts and negotiate or recommend changes designed to improve service quality, financial performance, and profitability.*
- Collaborate with carrier partners to identify and develop opportunities to expand products and service offerings.*
- Participate in client and prospect meetings, industry events, and meetings with broker and carrier partners as appropriate.*
- Prepare for and participate in presentations to the Board of Directors and senior leadership regarding business performance, strategic initiatives, risks, and opportunities.*
- Monitor market conditions, industry developments, competitors, and emerging trends to identify opportunities for innovation, expansion, and competitive advantage.*
- Develop, implement, and oversee policies, procedures, and operational standards within assigned areas of responsibility.*
- Select, develop, coach, and evaluate leaders and key team members and make or recommend appropriate personnel decisions.*
- Perform other executive-level responsibilities and strategic initiatives as assigned.
