We are looking for an experienced Regional Relationship Manager with strong client relationships and knowledge.
Responsibilities
Managing a portfolio of Chinese Corporate clients across APAC (excl. Japan) as the Regional Relationship Manager, including origination, returns discipline and credit risk accountability.
Collaborating closely with local, regional and global colleagues in pursuit of growing the business with our client base and supporting our client’s priorities
Originating new to bank client opportunities, and identifying growth opportunities with our existing client base across 14 countries and all products of the Bank
Growing our impact as a bank by focusing on ESG solutions to support our clients
Uptiering our APAC relationships to headquarter, CEO, CFO and APAC regional head levels in order to drive the MUFG strategic agenda
Working to establish APAC Regional Account Plans for clients in cooperation with the headquarter and local offices
Working to achieve targets and commitments set in the financial year and provide regular updates to key stakeholders and management with reports / deal pipelines on business development activities
To control and coordinate the preparation, credit matters including instructions, conditions and reports required and documentation including pending items. To always comply with internal rules and guidelines, as well as external laws and regulations pertaining to proper conduct of banking business.
The Regional Relationship Manager will manage the Chinese Corporates subsidiaries relationship across Asia (excl Japan). Therefore, the candidate must have a strong written and verbal command of Mandarin to successfully manage and build these relationships.
Requirements
Minimum 10 years’ experience within the Global Subsidiaries Banking space dealing with Mandarin speaking corporate clients with regional experience.
Mandarin language expertise is required as the role requires interaction with Mandarin speaking corporate clients.
Proven experience in building and developing client relationships, winning businesses, close transactions and developing network internally and externally.
Degree qualified.
Ability to work with diverse set of people across products and countries with proven track record of managing cross cultural environments.
Strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate with other departments
Strong understanding of local finance laws and regulations across APAC
Solid and In-depth knowledge of corporate banking products and services
