• Hire, lead and inspire high-performance, customer-focused teams to provide awareness and access to patients needing treatment for rare fungal diseases.
• Develop commercial capabilities and talent across the Sales, Marketing, Insights and Analytics, and Commercial Ops functions.
• Lead launch preparation and execution to all external customers, establish and oversee agency and vendor relationships, establish commercially relevant KOL relationships and lead cross-functional collaboration internally and externally.
• Define and hold self and team accountable for relevant KPIs
• Assist with building corporate vision and internal and external strategy that is integrated into commercial planning.
• Ensure consistent and high-quality, integration and communication with cross-functional partners including Medical Affairs, Market Access and Pricing, HEOR, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Finance, IT, and Legal and Compliance, aligned with corporate objectives.
• Routinely present to the Executive Leadership Team on commercial progress, challenges, risks, mitigation plans, and opportunities.
• Ensure depth of understanding and continuous learning on the marketplace and adjust and prioritize strategy and tactics accordingly.
• Develop and implement creative and innovative approaches to patient identification.
• Collaborate with Finance and Manufacturing to generate assumptions for forecasting revenues and supply and demand.
• A bachelor’s degree in business or science related discipline is required, and MBA is preferable.
• 15+ years in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry with a depth and breadth of commercial experience in multiple areas within the commercial function Successful US launch marketing strategy definition and leadership in a relevant therapeutic area and/or in a rare disease space is a distinct advantage. Demonstrated understanding of the US Hospital market is a must.
• Broad experience, success and demonstrated skills including US market experience, project management, influencing, relationship building, excellent oral and written communication, and presentation capability.
• Skilled at operating at the strategic level, and comfortable delivering tactics. Ability to simultaneously think “big picture” and get involved in the day- to- day details and execution.
• Ability to work with internal and external teams to develop simple, to-the-point communications that translate complex scientific data into messaging and other activities that resonate across the value chain.
• Comfortable with operating at the highest levels of the organization up to and including the Board of Directors.
• Strong customer focus and a reputation with colleagues, staff and external partners for integrity, high standards and trusted leadership.
• Proven success hiring, developing and leading highly effective cross-functional teams.
