Position: Vice President, Treasury & Servicing Operations
The Opportunity:
The Vice President (VP), Treasury & Servicing Operations, reporting to the Controller, is a key leader on Rockbridge’s finance team, responsible for safeguarding and optimizing cash and loan servicing operations across the firm’s funds, investments, and corporate entities. With more than 30 banking relationships, nearly 500 bank accounts, and a diverse serviced loan portfolio, this role combines operational rigor, sound risk management, and strategic oversight. The VP is the primary contact for cash banking relationships and the senior internal point of contact for cash and servicing support to the business. The successful candidate will strengthen the control environment, lead a high-performing team, and shape the systems and service-provider model that allow treasury and servicing operations to scale.
Success in this role calls for a collaborative, steady-handed leader who can build trust across teams, communicate complex issues clearly, and exercise sound judgment when priorities compete. The right person pairs a high bar for accuracy with a practical, solutions-oriented mindset—taking initiative, developing people, and continually finding ways to improve how the function serves the business.
What You’ll Lead:
Protect and optimize treasury operations
  • Own treasury operations across Rockbridge’s funds, investments, and corporate entities, ensuring cash activity is controlled, accurate, and dependable
  • Serve as Rockbridge’s primary relationship lead for non-lending banking partners across 30+ banks and nearly 500 accounts
  • Design and monitor payment controls including approvals, dual release, access, signer administration, and segregation of duties to protect the firm from error and fraud
  • Oversee daily payment activity, including planning and scheduling, review of significant transactions, and cash settlement for acquisitions, dispositions, and financings
  • Manage the opening and closing of bank accounts and services, along with the related documentation.
  • Monitor interest income and bank fees across accounts, identifying opportunities to manage costs
  • Partner with Fund Accounting and the fund administrator on capital calls, distributions, and investor-related cash matters
  • Ensure timely, reliable daily cash balance and activity reporting by making effective use of available people and systems
Drive loan servicing excellence
  • Oversee cash-related servicing for Rockbridge loans, including receipts, draws and paydowns, escrow and reserve administration, lender invoices and remittances, and rate and fee updates in partnership with Loan Asset Management
  • Oversee key non-cash servicing activities in Yardi, including borrower invoicing, debt service payments, reserve deposits, and payoff processing
  • Coordinate with lenders and third-party servicers on subscription line activity, lender invoices, rate and cap statements, and lender portal administration, supporting Portfolio Management and Corporate Accounting
  • Maintain a strong control environment for loan servicing and escrow account administration.
  • Manage third-party servicing and debt service providers, including scope, service levels, and issue resolution
Build the systems and partnerships to scale
  • Own the treasury management system roadmap for Kyriba and its integration with Yardi, including loan servicing modules
  • Oversee user access and system configuration for treasury and servicing platforms in partnership with IT
  • Evaluate co-sourced and outsourced operating models—including fund administration, debt services, and managed TMS support and recommend the right path forward
Lead and strengthen the team
  • Lead and develop a two-person team of Treasury Specialist and Treasury & Servicing Specialist
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes, strengthen controls, and improve efficiency as the function evolves
Who You Are:
  • Four-year college degree (B.A. or B.S.)
  • 10+ years of treasury operations and banking experience, including 5+ years leading a multi-bank, multi-entity environment
  • Experience with multiple online banking platforms, such as Huntington, BMO, Western Alliance, Chase, and PNC
  • Demonstrated expertise in payment controls, including approval structures, entitlements, signer administration, and segregation of duties

  • Experience reviewing team deliverables and managing third-party service providers
  • Strong proficiency with business applications, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Balance multiple assignments and competing priorities without compromising accuracy
  • Build strong working relationships and communicate clearly across teams and levels
