Video Content Creator & Editor
Description
Help Us Tell the Story Behind Paul The Plumber!
Paul The Plumber is looking for a creative, energetic, and talented Video Content Creator to join our team!
We are a family-owned plumbing, heating, cooling, electrical, and water filtration company serving Southern New Hampshire for over 20 years. We have built our business around great people, quality work, and taking care of our customers. Now we are looking for someone who can help us show the community what we are all about.
This is not a position where you will sit behind a desk editing videos all day. You will be out in the field with our technicians, behind the scenes at our office and warehouse, capturing company events, interviewing employees, and finding creative ways to turn everyday moments into engaging content.
Our goal is not to constantly sell something. It is to build our brand, educate homeowners, highlight our people, and show what makes Paul The Plumber different.
Essential Job Duties:
- Film and edit engaging videos for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other digital platforms
- Ride along with technicians to capture real service calls, installations, and behind-the-scenes footage
- Create educational videos that help homeowners better understand their plumbing, heating, cooling, and electrical systems
- Highlight our employees, company culture, training, events, and day-to-day operations
- Develop creative ideas for short-form videos, reels, employee spotlights, and longer educational content
- Manage the video production process from concept and filming through editing and final delivery
- Add captions, graphics, music, and other creative elements to make content engaging
- Work with our management and marketing teams to plan content and maintain a consistent brand presence
- Capture photography when needed for social media, recruiting, and marketing
- Stay up to date with social media trends and identify opportunities to incorporate them into our content
- Experience filming and editing engaging video content.
- Strong understanding of short-form social media content, especially Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts
- Proficiency with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar programs
- Someone creative who can come up with content ideas independently and bring them to life
- Comfortable approaching people, asking questions, and helping employees feel natural on camera
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and consistently deliver finished content
- Strong storytelling skills and an eye for what makes a video interesting
- Willingness to spend time in the field, on jobsites, and around our technicians
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to local jobsites
Please be prepared to provide a portfolio of you related work during the recruitment process
Experience in the plumbing, HVAC, or home services industry is NOT required. We will teach you about our business. We are much more interested in your creativity, personality, and ability to create great content.
