Video Content Strategist
Summary
Own the end-to-end YouTube video content pipeline—from ideation and scripting to packaging and performance analysis—for a Bitcoin-focused financial services company.
You will own the video content pipeline from idea generation through scripting packaging and performance analysis. You will write engaging medium and long form videos develop hooks and introductions align edits with scripts and build repeatable systems for content production and testing.
Responsibilities
- Generate and filter video ideas
- Craft and test titles and thumbnails
- Write medium and long form video scripts
- Develop hooks and introductions
- Align story edits with script structure and pacing
- Track views retention and returning viewer rate
- Build systems for idea management scripting and content testing
Requirements
- Track record of growing a video channel
- Experience creating ideas and packaging that improve views and retention
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills
- Strong understanding of the YouTube algorithm retention curves and click through rate
- Understanding of Bitcoin economics
- Strong ownership and decision making
- Integrity and professional presentation
- On camera interviewing or hosting experience is a plus
- Background in finance economics or journalism is a plus
