Video Editor
We are looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor to work on long and short formats. The editor should be expected to work with on a variety of projects, transforming footage shot by the production team into compelling visual stories based off the project specs.
This role is a full-time six month contract role with the option to convert to permanent.
Responsibilities
- Take charge of video ideation and creation
- Able to weave footages to tell a compelling story
- Implement creative notes from stakeholders and clients.
- Work closely with team members to understand requirements and communicate the intended creative vision for production.
- Organised and attentive in the editing and storage for different content
- Keep up to date with latest video marketing/ social trends
Qualifications
- Diploma in Film, Sound & Video or its equivalent.
- Is a team player
- Creative, technically inclined
- Knowledge of editing principles
- Able to work well under pressure
- Fast turnaround
- · Good understanding of social media production
- Proficient with various video editing tools (Adobe Premiere, Audition, After Effects)
- Proficiency in other areas (ie, colour grading, VFX) is a plus.
