Video Editor

We are a fast-growing 24-hour Christian television station based in Ibadan, Nigeria, broadcasting Christian programmes, sermons, teachings and faith-based content to audiences across Africa and Europe.

As the station continues to expand its broadcast reach and programming, we are building a professional media team to support our growing television and digital content operations.

*The Role*
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Video Editor to join our media team.

The successful candidate will edit sermons, interviews, documentaries, TV programmes, adverts, promos and social-media content, helping transform raw footage into polished, engaging content suitable for television and digital platforms.

Training and support will be provided during the probation period. However, candidates must already have a solid understanding of basic video editing and be able to learn, adapt and improve quickly.

*Requirements*
1.Basic to intermediate knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro
2.Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or similar graphics software.
3.Proficiency in CapCut Pro.
4.Ability to edit interviews, documentaries, TV programmes, adverts, promos and social-media content.
5.Good understanding of storytelling, pacing, transitions, music selection and visual composition.
6.Ability to turn raw footage into an engaging finished programme.
7.Strong creativity and attention to detail.
8.Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
9.Ability to work from a script, creative brief or director's instructions.
10.Willingness to work flexible hours when necessary, particularly during live events and major productions.

Creativity is a strong advantage. Your portfolio and the quality of the work you have already produced will be considered, even where your professional experience is limited.
