Compare AI-generated video outputs to identify visual artifacts, unnatural motion, temporal inconsistencies, continuity issues, and editing-quality problems.
-
Develop expert-level editing scenarios, reference examples, quality assessments, and structured feedback to support AI training projects.
-
Verify that video deliverables comply with creative briefs, editing instructions, style guides, technical specifications, and project-specific evaluation criteria.
-
Document editing errors clearly, explain their impact on the final output, and recommend appropriate corrections using professional editing terminology.
-
Support quality calibration by helping establish consistent evaluation standards across reviewers, editors, and video assessment workflows.
-
Ensure reviewed content meets professional expectations for visual storytelling, audiovisual coherence, technical delivery, and production quality.

-
Previous experience as a Lead Editor, Senior Video Editor, Post-Production Supervisor, QC Coordinator, or in a comparable quality-focused role.
-
A professional video demo reel or portfolio with a working, shareable link is mandatory for the selection process. The portfolio should demonstrate professional editing capabilities, ideally through commercial, broadcast, film, television, or advanced digital video projects.
-
Strong understanding of editing fundamentals, including pacing, continuity, shot selection, narrative structure, transitions, visual composition, and storytelling.
-
In-depth knowledge of technical video standards, including frame rates, resolutions, codecs, containers, aspect ratios, color spaces, export settings, and broadcast or digital delivery specifications.
-
Experience with color correction and grading, audio editing, synchronization, sound mixing, subtitles, captions, and motion graphics.
-
Ability to identify subtle editing defects, including jump cuts, continuity errors, dropped frames, audio drift, inconsistent color, compression artifacts, inappropriate transitions, and technical delivery issues.
-
Excellent analytical judgment and attention to detail, with the ability to explain why an edit meets or falls short of professional standards.
-
Experience reviewing other editors' work, providing structured feedback, conducting technical quality control, or supervising post-production workflows.
-
A reliable, self-directed working style and the ability to maintain consistent quality in a remote contractor environment across time zones.
-
Previous experience with AI-generated video evaluation, AI data training, video annotation, multimedia quality assurance, or rubric-based evaluation is a strong advantage.
