Role Overview

Digital Nest is looking for a Video Editor & Motion Graphics Designer who understands storytelling, pacing, branding, and performance-driven content.


This is not a basic editing role.
You will be responsible for creating high-impact videos and motion graphics used across:


  • Marketing campaigns
  • Social media (Reels, Shorts, YouTube)
  • Course content
  • Ads
  • Brand videos
  • Internal and external communications


If you only cut clips and add transitions, this role is not for you.
We need someone who can think visually, execute fast, and maintain brand consistency.



Key Responsibilities

1. Video Editing

You will:

  • Edit short-form and long-form videos for:
    • Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, Ads
    • YouTube videos, webinars, masterclasses
    • Course modules and training content
  • Ensure clean cuts, proper pacing, storytelling flow, and platform-specific formats
  • Sync visuals with voice-overs, music, and sound effects
  • Handle color correction, basic color grading, and audio cleanup
  • Optimize videos for different platforms (aspect ratios, resolutions, duration)

2. Motion Graphics & Animation

You will:

  • Design and animate:
    • Intros, outros, lower thirds
    • Kinetic typography videos
    • Explainer videos
    • Logo animations
    • Social media motion creatives
  • Create motion graphics aligned with Digital Nest’s brand guidelines
  • Use animation to enhance clarity and engagement, not distract
  • Work on educational animations for concepts, processes, and workflows

3. Creative Collaboration

You will:

  • Work closely with:
    • Marketing team
    • Trainers & content creators
    • Design team
    • Management
  • Convert raw ideas, scripts, or briefs into polished visual content
  • Suggest creative improvements instead of blindly executing instructions
  • Participate in content planning and brainstorming sessions

4. Brand Consistency & Quality Control

You will:

  • Maintain consistent visual identity across all videos
  • Follow brand colors, fonts, tone, and motion styles
  • Ensure every output meets quality standards before delivery
  • Rework videos based on feedback without ego or delay

5. Asset Management & Workflow

You will:

  • Organize project files, assets, templates, and exports properly
  • Maintain version control and backups
  • Meet deadlines without repeated follow-ups
  • Work efficiently under tight timelines when needed

Required Skills & Tools

Must-Have Technical Skills

You must be proficient in:

  • Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Adobe After Effects
  • Adobe Photoshop (for thumbnails & assets)
  • Adobe Illustrator (basic motion assets)

Strongly Preferred

  • DaVinci Resolve (color grading)
  • Audition or equivalent for audio cleanup
  • Experience with templates, presets, and expressions in After Effects
  • Knowledge of social media video best practices

Creative & Professional Skills

You must have:

  • Strong sense of timing, rhythm, and visual hierarchy
  • Understanding of storytelling and audience psychology
  • Ability to take feedback constructively and iterate fast
  • Attention to detail (small mistakes won’t be tolerated)
  • Discipline to follow processes and brand standards

Experience Requirements

  • 2-5 years of hands-on professional experience
  • A strong portfolio showcasing:
    • Video editing
    • Motion graphics
    • Short-form and long-form content
  • Experience working with brands, agencies, or content-driven companies is a big plus
