Summary:
The Video Editor/Cinematographer plays a pivotal role in bringing visual stories to life by transforming raw footage and photographic material into polished, audience-ready content. The ideal candidate will be a skilled storyteller with a keen eye for detail, capable of managing all stages of production—from pre-production planning and equipment setup to on-set direction, editing, and post-production refinement. By staying ahead of industry trends and leveraging cutting-edge tools, the Video Editor/Cinematographer ensures that every project is delivered efficiently, creatively, and professionally.
Responsibilities:
- Capture high-quality still images and direct photo shoots with a professional and creative approach.
- Edit video footage into compelling, audience-appropriate formats with logical sequencing and seamless transitions.
- Advise on optimal background setups and visual composition for photography and video shoots.
- Assemble, set up, and maintain all necessary photography and videography equipment.
- Plan, prepare, and rehearse scenes to ensure smooth execution during production.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders on video and camera-related projects.
- Provide expert guidance on technical and creative aspects of video and camera production to Ringier and its clients.
- Offer real-time editing feedback during filming to enhance final output quality.
- Review shooting scripts and contribute constructive input to improve production effectiveness.
- Respond promptly to direction and adhere strictly to the camera script.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices, integrating them to improve workflow and results.
