Summary

Senior video editor producing high-volume Meta ad creatives (~50 concepts/month) for a newsletter-growth agency: editing UGC and B-roll into short-form ads with hooks, captions, and sound design, iterating with growth marketers. Core tools are Premiere Pro and CapCut, with bonus focus on AI-assisted creative workflows.

About Zabota

Zabota is a top-ranked global recruitment firm, recognized as a Top HR Staffing Company by Clutch in 2025. We specialize in helping high-growth U.S. brands build elite, remote-first teams. Our mission is clear: Connect world-class talent from LATAM, Europe, and beyond with the most ambitious companies in the world.

About Our Client

Our client is the #1 agency for newsletter growth, helping some of the largest personal brands, founders, and media companies in the world acquire subscribers at scale through Meta advertising.

They manage millions in ad spend and work with major personal brands, founders, and digital media companies. The team is remote-first, lean, fast-moving, and highly collaborative. Every team member has direct access to leadership, sees the impact of their work in real campaign data, and works on projects for brands most marketers only read about.

The company values ownership over process, speed over perfection, and results over politics.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Video Editor to produce high-performing Meta ad creatives for some of the biggest newsletter brands in the world.

You will work alongside senior growth marketers in a fast-paced, high-volume creative environment. We are looking for someone who can make strong creative decisions independently rather than relying on exhaustive briefs.

The ideal candidate understands show, don't tell. You should instinctively know how to source relevant B-roll, graphics, screen recordings, and visual elements that support what is happening in a script.

This role will involve producing approximately 50 concepts per month, often with multiple variations and hook tests.

Responsibilities:

- Edit UGC and B-roll content into engaging ad creatives for Meta (Facebook + Instagram) and other short-form platforms

- Add captions, text overlays, and sound design to make content thumb-stopping and conversion-focused

- Create assets in multiple dimensions (1:1, 9:16, 4:5) for Meta placements—familiarity is ideal, but we can train the right candidate

- Balance creative freedom and direction; sometimes you'll get rough cuts or scripts, other times a moodboard or raw footage to run with

- Collaborate closely with creative strategists and ad buyers to quickly iterate and test variations based on performance
Accept and implement feedback quickly while maintaining high quality

- Organize and manage projects to keep timelines tight and deliverables on track

Qualifications

- Strong experience editing short-form, social-first ad content (especially Meta)
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar
- Experience with UGC content, social B-roll, and performance-driven edits
- Ability to create scroll-stopping hooks and dynamic pacing
- Portfolio showcasing ad work or short-form edits (ideally Meta or TikTok ads)
- Comfortable adapting to different brand styles and audiences
- Excellent communication and ability to overlap at least 4–5 hours with 9am–5pm EST

Bonus

- Familiarity with paid media best practices and what makes an ad convert
- Experience editing for DTC brands, mobile apps, or newsletters
- Motion graphics or ---------- -style editing skills
- Experience actively building AI-assisted tools or workflows rather than simply having familiarity with AI.
-
Experience using tools such as Higgsfield, Claude skills, or similar platforms to build creative workflows
