Videographer (Shipboard)
Summary
Shipboard videographer aboard Ritz-Carlton's luxury yacht, shooting and editing video of onboard entertainment, guest events, and shore excursions, producing end-of-voyage broadcast footage, leading guest videography workshops, and selling private sessions. Core stack: Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Responsible for Creating compelling content videography by shooting video, both ashore and onboard, including but not limited to on board entertainment, guest talent, programs and events
- Liase with the shoreside operations and creative team address operational needs to ensure consistent on-brand delivery
- Edit and broadcast video footage for the end of each voyage
- Lead workshops to share the basics of videography with guests
- Offer lectures on a voyage basis to share footage with guests
- Offer private videography packages and sessions for guests (for example, Wedding Package)
- Valid Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) and flag certification for the duration of the contract and appropriate to position
- In possession of, or willing to obtain a C1/D visa
- Demonstrated expertise in audio-visual production with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work samples. Please link your portfolio in your application
- Well versed in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro and After Effects, for seamless video editing and motion graphics creation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of completed projects
- Engaging and guest-focused approach with the goal of continually improving the onboard experience
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in audio-visual technology and techniques to continuously improve skills and deliver innovative content.
- Multi-lingual is considered an asset

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- All Yacht Ladies and Gentlemen must be physically able to participate in emergency lifesaving procedures and drills. Full use and range of arms and legs as well as full visual, verbal and hearing abilities are required to receive and give instructions in the event of an emergency including the lowering of lifeboats. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- All Yacht Ladies and Gentlemen must be able to communicate in the English language in order to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from guests, supervisors and co-workers.
