McCue, a division of Bunzl, is seeking a temporary Videographer to join our Marketing team. The Videographer is a hands-on role where video is the core of the work. You will shoot on site at customer facilities, cut raw footage into polished branded videos, and build the systems that make our video library accessible to the whole team and our customers.
This is a contract position; 3-6 months as a temporary assignment.
There is a lot of variety in the day-to-day. You might be filming a testing shoot in Danvers, editing a product launch video, coordinating a site visit at a customer site, or upping our YouTube presence. This is a good fit for someone who takes pride in their craft, works independently in the field, and wants to define what modern McCue video looks like.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to customer facilities to capture hero and transformation footage and coordinate directly with install teams and site contacts.
- Arrive on-site prepared to shoot without additional support.
- Film on-site testing at our Danvers facility, including impact tests, product demonstrations, and marketing shoots.
- Turn raw footage into finished videos across product launches, customer stories, testing videos, social cutdowns, and sales assets, with a consistent visual style you help define.
- Use modern AI tools and motion graphics to enhance shots, remove distractions, and produce professional B2B videos.
- Manage the video library across Vimeo, YouTube, McCue.com, and product pages.
- Own file organization, naming conventions, and upload workflows so the team can find and use what you produce.
- Reset and grow McCue’s YouTube presence.
- Optimize videos for discoverability using video SEO best practices.
- Track the sales pipeline for installations worth capturing and push proactively to attend the shoots that align with content priorities.
- Build and maintain a system that keeps you ahead of the shoot schedule.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Three or more years of professional videography and editing experience in B2B, industrial, manufacturing, or comparable working-environment settings.
- Strong portfolio showing both original cinematography and editorial work.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, After Effects for motion graphics.
- Confidence using modern AI tools to enhance footage and speed up editorial workflow.
- Own cinema or mirrorless camera capable of 4K/60fps (Sony FX3 or comparable) and audio.
- Comfortable coordinating your own travel and working with install teams and site contacts you have not met before.
- Working knowledge of Vimeo, YouTube, and video SEO fundamentals.
- Clear, direct written communication. You can respond to feedback and confirm scope in writing.
- Nice to have: FAA Part 107 drone certification, and comfort with tools and physical setup work on shoot days.
Core Competencies:
- Attention to detail: You notice what's off in a shot and fix it before you roll.
- Creative composition in real environments: You can make a working industrial space look intentional on camera.
- Independent judgment: You make the call in the field to avoid future re-shoots.
- Executes to brief: You follow the direction given and raise questions before the edit, not after.
- Proactive communication: You flag risks and slipped deadlines before they land.
McCue's salary range for this opportunity is $68,000 - $78,000 based on experience, education, and geographic location.
