About the role

The Content Creator & Videographer captures the stories behind SDS Australia's saunas. On a part-time, basis, this role travels to residential and commercial sites where SDS products have been installed to capture product, location and venue content and client testimonial videos.

The role delivers high-impact, brand-aligned content that fulfils SDS's social content strategy, with Instagram as the lead platform, and strengthens the company's digital presence, engagement and growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Attend residential and commercial sites where SDS saunas have been installed, and capture the product, the location and the venue at their best.

  • Film natural, authentic client testimonial videos, putting clients at ease and drawing out their real story.

  • Capture content to a brief that supports the SDS social content strategy, applying Instagram best practice to Reels, Stories and feed content.

  • Ensure all content aligns with SDS's brand positioning, campaign objectives and customer experience standards.

  • Arrange attendance, timing and access with the SDS team and clients.

  • Obtain signed consent for filming and use of content before publishing.

  • Represent SDS professionally on client properties and venues, respecting their property and privacy.

  • Travel around New South Wales, and fly to Victoria and Brisbane when required.

  • Work closely with the marketing, sales and customer success teams to identify clients and installations worth capturing.

  • Support broader business initiatives with content for campaigns, product launches and presentations.

About you

  • Strong artistic vision, with an eye for composition, light and movement, and for making interiors, outdoor spaces and products look beautiful.

  • Savvy, confident and personable, able to put clients at ease and draw out natural testimonials.

  • Good understanding of social media content production and strategy, especially Instagram best practice.

  • Proficiency in video editing and design tools (for example Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or CapCut).

  • Self-directed, reliable and organised, able to take a brief and deliver without hand-holding.

  • Excellent communication skills and a professional manner on client sites.

  • Demonstrable experience in video capture, evidenced by a portfolio or Instagram account.

  • Experience producing social-first video content, ideally testimonial or lifestyle content, in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

  • Comfortable with regular travel around NSW and occasional interstate flights.

  • Tertiary qualification in film, media, photography, visual communication or a related field (preferred but not essential).

Advantageous, not essential

A creator who also has these skills may be offered additional casual hours supporting the marketing and design team, working to the Digital Design Manager's direction.

• Web and landing page design, with a working understanding of UX/UI principles and responsive design.

• High proficiency in digital design tools (for example Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch or Webflow).

• Producing campaign, social and email graphics that follow SDS brand guidelines and design systems.

• Awareness of conversion rate optimisation and using data and user feedback to improve design outputs.

• Experience with A/B testing or basic front-end development is a plus.
