Description

At Bethanie, we create vibrant, welcoming communities where older Western Australians can thrive — living independently, building meaningful connections and enjoying life on their terms.
We are seeking an experienced Village Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Elanora Retirement Village. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team and play a key role in creating an exceptional living experience for our residents.

Fixed-term, part-time contract covering long service leave from 23 November 2026 to 11 March 2027

Work 30 hours per week, across 4 days – with flexibility on hours (school hours could be supported)

About you

Experience in the retirement or health industry is preferred.

Previous management experience is essential.

A strong work ethic and drive to go the extra mile for an outstanding customer experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to connect with people of diverse ages and backgrounds.

Strong organisational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail.

The ability to manage budgets, interpret financial statements and use financial management software.

Required vaccinations: at least one COVID-19 vaccination and the 2026 annual flu vaccination.

The role

Be residents’ main point of contact, anticipate their needs, address concerns and support an outstanding quality of life.

Promote the village and support sales and marketing events as required.

Plan, promote and run activities, functions and events that enrich residents’ lives.

Support sales enquiries and help new residents settle into their homes and community.

Keep residents informed about activities, services and building improvements, and ensure the village is well maintained and presented.

Connect with fellow Village Managers through fortnightly MS Teams catch-ups and quarterly face-to-face meetings.
