Social Media Intern
As a Social Media intern, you will be in charge of overseeing our company's connections with the public through the implementation of content strategy for social media platforms. Your responsibilities will include analyzing engagement data, finding trends in consumer interactions, and developing digital initiatives to establish an online community. The role requires out-of-the-box thinking, some rule-bending, a bit of ingenuity, and the creative chops to back it up.
What will you do:
- Research current benchmark trends as well as audience preferences
- Create and implement a social media strategy with help of our Social Media Manager
- Create, edit, publish, and distribute compelling content daily (for example, original text, photographs, videos, and news)
- Keep track of SEO and online traffic stats
- Collaborate with other teams such as marketing, sales, and customer service to maintain brand consistency
- Communicate with followers, reply to inquiries quickly, and keep track of client feedback
- Oversee the design of social media accounts (for example, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Maintain current knowledge of contemporary technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications.
What should you have:
- Practical knowledge of content management
- Outstanding copywriting abilities
- Capability to deliver original content (text, image, and video)
- Excellent understanding of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics
- Understanding of online marketing channels
- Excellent communication abilities
- Proficient in analytical and multitasking abilities
More Details
- Location: REMOTE
- Pay: $17.28/hour
- Start date: Determined by LA-Tech
- Hours per week: 15 hours/week
- Duration: 160 hours

LA County Subsidy Eligible Position Information
Subsidy roles require students to have an LA County based address, and be between the ages of 18-24 years old. Once you are placed in a subsidy eligible position you will be required to present the following documents to processed in a Youth Center (AJCC):
- Identification (School or State ID).
- Social Security Card (Please ensure that it is signed).
- Birth Certificate.
- Proof of Los Angeles County Residency, including a postmarked date (Report Card, Transcripts, or any mail that is under the applicant’s name).
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination OR valid medical/religious exemption.
- The Youth Center (AJCC) will be paying you for 160 completed hours.
- You will be required to submit timesheets to your youth center (AJCC) to be paid for your time worked.
NOTE: IF YOU WERE ALREADY PLACED IN A SUBSIDY ELIGIBLE POSITION, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO QUALIFY FOR ANOTHER SUBSIDY ELIGIBLE POSITION UNTIL JULY 1ST.
