Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Infrastructure Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in Java and a comprehensive understanding of infrastructure management. This role involves overseeing the deployment, monitoring, and optimization of our infrastructure systems, ensuring high availability and performance. The candidate will work collaboratively in an Agile environment, leveraging various tools and technologies to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage infrastructure solutions using Java, Unix, and Oracle.
• Utilize OpenShift (OCP) for container orchestration and deployment.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries for database management and reporting.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues using Splunk and AppDynamics.
• Automate processes and workflows using Autosys and scripting languages such as Python.
• Visualize and analyze data using Grafana to support decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Document infrastructure processes, configurations, and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Mandatory Skills:

• Proficiency in Java programming.
• Strong knowledge of Unix operating systems.
• Experience with Oracle databases.
• Familiarity with OpenShift (OCP) for container management.
• Solid understanding of SQL for database interactions.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk and AppDynamics.
• Knowledge of job scheduling tools like Autosys.
• Proficient in scripting languages, particularly Python.
• Experience with data visualization tools, specifically Grafana.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and services.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of network protocols and security best practices.
• Experience with configuration management tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in infrastructure management or cloud technologies are a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
